Happiness is not a Fish You Can Catch

This weekend’s blog reading has been filled with “happiness”.

I saw this quote on The Punching Teacup this weekend and it was like a big explosive Ah-Ha moment for me:

“If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?”

Right?! How awesome is that question?!

THEN I read a post about seizing the moment and doing the things that make you happy NOW instead of waiting for the “right time” to be happy on the Happy Pretty Blog!

Kim also mentioned The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin which is a book that has been on my radar for quite awhile so I may need to pick that one up and give it a read.

Gee, it’s like the universe is trying to tell me something…

What is it that really makes me happy?

Instead of doing a boring list I decided to make a Wordle! (It kind of broke up a lot of my phrases though….but you get the general idea…)

Ok now, how do I turn all this happiness into a career that will make money?

That seems to be the $10,000 question. How can I turn what I love (my passions) into a job or a career that I am going to love and want to spend time building and growing.

That’s one of my biggest goals, to make a living from one of my (many!) passions. I’ll let you know if I find a way if you let me know lol!!

And thanks so much for the mention!

Wordles make me happy! :) (Can you create a career out of making wordles….hmm…..) There are so many of us out there trying to make a life doing what we love. I know we will all find a way!

Wordles are pretty awesome! I’m sure if you could find a way to make them into an artsy sort of deal you could totally make creating Wordles a career! hehe

Oh and I agree, there are too many people doing awesome things that they love for us not to be able to find our thing! :)
